What are the WinterSport Weeks?
The first two WinterSport Weeks were a complete success and a great experience for everyone who was there. Sport, Jewishness and community bring the MAKKABI feeling and make this event so special.
This year we are expanding the sporting program with completely new departments. In addition to the previous disciplines of alpine skiing and snowboarding, the following new sports are now offered:

Laser Biathlon
figure skating
Icestockschiessen
Snow Volleyball
In an unforgettable week full of fun, Jewishness and community, we will welcome Maccabees from all over Europe with our partner, the ZWST!
The great days full of sport and fun in the snow are crowned with a joint Kabbalat Shabbat, varied evening programs and final competitions as a sporting highlight.
Meals are kosher and include breakfast and dinner together. The participants can pack lunch packages at breakfast.
There will be training opportunities under supervision and we are starting to form the teams for the upcoming first WinterGames 2023 in Ruhpoldingen. MAKKABI Germany will be the host and Germany will be the venue, so of course we want to go into this historic tournament with as many disciplines as possible.
