On November 17, 2019, MAKKABI Germany welcomed delegates from all local associations to the annual general assembly.
After a word of welcome from this year's host, Mr. Jo-Achim Hamburger (Chairman of the IKGN Nuremberg), President Alon Meyer welcomed all those present in particular to Messrs. Henry Majngarten (Bar Kochba Nuremberg) and Moritz Rajber (TSV Maccabi Munich), flag bearers of the Maccabiah 1969.
With the delegates of the local associations TuS Makkabi Berlin eV, TuS Makkabi Duisburg-Mühlheim-Oberhausen, TuS Makkabi Frankfurt eV, Makkabi Baden-Baden and Freiburg (in formation), TSV Maccabi Nuremberg eV, Bar Kochba Nuremberg, TSV Maccabi Munich eV, TuS Maccabi Dusseldorf registered association and TuS Makkabi Köln e. V 56 participants from 10 local associations were represented.
One item on the agenda was the election of the presidium member for youth work. After a unanimous election, this position will be held by Ms. Keren Vogler. The venue for the 2020 General Assembly will be Baden-Baden, combined with the next Maccabi Sports Gala 2020.
