Reception in political Berlin! On October 18, 2019, MAKKABI Germany had the honor of being invited to the Federal Ministry of the Interior to be awarded for the successful European Maccabi Games 2019. Numerous Maccabi medalists traveled to the federal capital from all over Germany. Together with our friends from the General German University Sports Association, we looked back at our competitions in Budapest, as well as at the past Summer and Winter Universiade, where all of our German teams were able to achieve excellent results.
We would like to thank all the Maccabees who came and the Ministry of the Interior, above all State Secretary Stephan Mayer and his wonderful employees Ms. Bering, Ms. Lohmann and Mr. Wiemann, for this special honor. It fills us with pride that the successes of MAKKABI Germany are noticed and appreciated in this way.
