KICK IT OUT ATTENDS EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT WORKING GROUP ON ANTISEMITISM EVENT

Roisin Wood, Chief Executive Officer of Kick It Out, was in Brussels on Tuesday 7 February as the European Parliament Working Group on Antisemitism hosted an event which looked into football’s efforts in tackling the issue.

Roisin was joined by Alon Meyer, President of Makkabi Germany, Roy Rajber, Media Officer for the German Under-21 Men’s national team and Oded Breda, Project Manager at Beit Theresienstadt for a panel discussion on antisemitism and football.

Before the panel discussion, a screening of the documentary ‘Liga Terezin’ was shown. The film tells the story of a football league which took place in the Ghetto Theresienstadt, in the Czech Republic, during World War II.
